Georg Philipp Telemann was a German Baroque composer and multi-instrumentalist. He is one of the most prolific composers in history, at least in terms of surviving works. Born 1681-03-24 (344 years ago) in Magdeburg, Germany. Died 1767-06-25 in Hamburg, Germany (aged 86).
